<p><strong>Ingredients:</strong></p>
<p>2 <strong>eggs</strong><br />
1/4 cup <strong>sugar</strong><br />
2 packages (7.5 oz ea.) <strong>Friendship Farmer Cheese</strong><br />
1/8 teaspoon <strong>salt</strong><br />
1/2 teaspoon <strong>baking soda</strong><br />
1 teaspoon <strong>vinegar</strong><br />
1 and 1/3 cup <strong>flour</strong><br />
<strong>oil</strong> for frying<br />
<strong>powdered sugar</strong>, for sprinkling</p>

<p><strong>Directions:</strong></p>
<p>Beat together eggs and sugar. </p>
<p><img src="http://papabuna.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/IMG_4224-300x200.jpg" alt="Gogosi-Prep1" title="Gogosi-Prep1" width="300" height="200" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1106" /></p>
<p>Add salt and the 2 packages of farmer cheese, and mix.</p>
<p><img src="http://papabuna.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/IMG_4227-300x200.jpg" alt="Gogosi-Prep2" title="Gogosi-Prep2" width="300" height="200" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1107" /><br />
<img src="http://papabuna.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/IMG_4229-300x200.jpg" alt="Gogosi-Prep3" title="Gogosi-Prep3" width="300" height="200" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1109" /></p>
<p>Spread baking soda in tablespoon, and pour the vinegar on top. Wait until it stops reacting, then mix in with the rest of the ingredients.</p>
<p><img src="http://papabuna.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/IMG_4233-300x200.jpg" alt="Gogosi-Prep4" title="Gogosi-Prep4" width="300" height="200" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1112" /></p>
<p>Add flour and mix.</p>

<p>Pour oil into a medium saucepan, to cover about 1/2&#8243; of the bottom of the pan. Heat oil on medium-low heat. Add a small amount of the dough to the oil. When it starts to bubble, the oil is hot enough and ready for frying.</p>
<p><img src="http://papabuna.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/IMG_4241-300x200.jpg" alt="Gogosi-Prep6" title="Gogosi-Prep6" width="300" height="200" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1116" /></p>
<p>Drop the dough by tablespoon into the hot oil. If needed, use another tablespoon to shape dough into a ball.</p>
<p><img src="http://papabuna.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/IMG_4242-300x200.jpg" alt="Gogosi-Prep7" title="Gogosi-Prep7" width="300" height="200" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1119" /></p>
<p>Fry on both sides, until golden brown. Adjust the heat as needed, so the dough doesn&#8217;t brown too quickly on the outside and is raw on the inside.</p>
<p><img src="http://papabuna.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/IMG_4245-300x200.jpg" alt="Gogosi-Prep8" title="Gogosi-Prep8" width="300" height="200" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1120" /></p>
<p>Place doughnuts on a plate, to cool after frying.</p>
<p><img src="http://papabuna.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/IMG_4260-300x200.jpg" alt="Gogosi-Prep9" title="Gogosi-Prep9" width="300" height="200" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1128" /></p>
<p>Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve warm or cool.</p>

<p>Another way to serve: Mix together a little sugar and sour cream to form a dip for the doughnuts.</p>

<p>A very easy and quick recipe, yet very delicious and nutritious. </p>
<p><strong>Ingredients:</strong></p>
<p>5 cups dried pitted <strong>prunes</strong><br />
about 2 and 1/2 cups <strong>walnut halves</strong><br />
3/4 cup <strong>wine</strong>. I used the cooking type<br />
<strong>powdered sugar</strong> to garnish</p>

<p><strong>Directions:</strong></p>
<p>Take one prune at a time and stuff with the walnut halves, trying to keep the prune whole as much as possible. To make it easier, I broke the walnut halves in half and stuffed them one at a time. You can also use a butter knife to help open up the prune.</p>
<p><img src="http://papabuna.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/IMG_4610-300x200.jpg" alt="WalnutStuffedPrunesStuffing" title="WalnutStuffedPrunesStuffing" width="300" height="200" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-780" /><br />

<p>When all the prunes are stuffed, place in a medium size pan. Add the wine and cover. Cook on medium low for about 15-20 minutes. Uncover and cook an additional 10 minutes, or until the wine is evaporated.</p>
<p><img src="http://papabuna.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/IMG_4711-300x200.jpg" alt="WalnutStuffedPrunesCooking" title="WalnutStuffedPrunesCooking" width="300" height="200" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-785" /></p>
<p>Remove from pan and spread on a large plate, so they don&#8217;t stick together. Let cool.</p>

<p>Place on serving plate, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve!</p>
<p><strong>Note:</strong> I used pear slices and grated orange peel to decorate with.</p>

<p>My mom used to make this recipe when I was growing up, so it brings back good memories. As the name says, it is a very moist and delicious sweet bread, a favorite of mine. Hope you&#8217;ll enjoy it as much as I do!</p>
<p><strong>Ingredients:</strong></p>
<p>2 cups <strong>milk</strong><br />
2 cups <strong>flour</strong><br />
2 cups <strong>sugar</strong><br />
2 <strong>eggs</strong>, beaten<br />
3 tablespoons <strong>oil</strong><br />
2 cups chopped <strong>walnuts</strong><br />
1 21oz. can <strong>cherry pie filling</strong><br />
1 teaspoon <strong>baking soda</strong><br />
1-2 tablespoons <strong>vinegar</strong><br />
<strong>powdered sugar</strong> to sprinkle on top</p>
<p><img src="http://papabuna.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/IMG_0978-300x200.jpg" alt="CherryNutBreadIngredients" title="CherryNutBreadIngredients" width="300" height="200" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-623" /></p>
<p><strong>Directions:</strong></p>
<p>Preheat oven to 350 F.<br />
Place milk in a large bowl. Slowly pour flour a little at a time, while mixing on low with a mixer, to prevent lumps.</p>
<p><img src="http://papabuna.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/IMG_0981-300x200.jpg" alt="CherryNutBreadFlour" title="CherryNutBreadFlour" width="300" height="200" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-626" /></p>
<p>Add sugar and mix together.</p>
<p><img src="http://papabuna.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/IMG_0986-300x200.jpg" alt="CherryNutBreadSugar" title="CherryNutBreadSugar" width="300" height="200" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-628" /></p>
<p>Add beaten eggs, oil, walnuts and cherries. Use only the actual cherries, discard the liquid they&#8217;re in.</p>
<p><img src="http://papabuna.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/IMG_0989-300x200.jpg" alt="CherryNutBreadCherries" title="CherryNutBreadCherries" width="300" height="200" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-629" /></p>
<p>Place baking soda in a regular tablespoon and spread.</p>
<p><img src="http://papabuna.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/IMG_09911-300x200.jpg" alt="CherryNutBreadSoda" title="CherryNutBreadSoda" width="300" height="200" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-633" /></p>
<p>Slowly pour vinegar on top of baking soda, a little at a time, mixing every now and then, until baking soda stops reacting.</p>
<p><img src="http://papabuna.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/IMG_0992-300x200.jpg" alt="CherryNutBreadSodaReact" title="CherryNutBreadSodaReact" width="300" height="200" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-636" /></p>
<p>Pour over the rest of ingredients and mix. Pour into a 13&#8243; X 9&#8243; baking pan.</p>
<p> <img src="http://papabuna.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/IMG_1002-300x200.jpg" alt="CherryNutBreadPan" title="CherryNutBreadPan" width="300" height="200" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-642" /></p>
<p>Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until brown.</p>
<p><img src="http://papabuna.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/IMG_1004-300x200.jpg" alt="CherryNutBreadBrown" title="CherryNutBreadBrown" width="300" height="200" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-645" /></p>
<p>Cool for a few minutes. Cut the bread into serving size pieces. I have to say though, using a knife for cutting was a bit tricky for me, since the edges would break off. But if you want perfect looking pieces without the fuss, you can always use the <a href="http://x.azjmp.com/3KYbH">Perfect Brownie Baking Pan</a>, which of course, can be used for more than just brownies!<br />
Sprinkle the pieces with powdered sugar and serve warm or cold.</p>
<p><img src="http://papabuna.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/IMG_1017-300x200.jpg" alt="CherryNutBreadFinalBottom" title="CherryNutBreadFinalBottom" width="300" height="200" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-651" /></p>
